Happy New Year! We hope everyone enjoyed the holiday season. We want to "pawz" and express our deepest gratitude to every volunteer, donor, business sponsor, and caring park-goer for making 2025 such a wonderful year for our parks! πΎπ
We extend a special thank you to the hardworking, dedicated Clark County employees who support us at Lucky, Dakota, and Kane dog parks. We are incredibly grateful that Clark County allows DogPaw to host these parks on county land. ππ³
We also want to thank the Bonneville Power Administration for allowing Ike Dog Park to thrive on their land. It is truly a treasured partnership between our non-profit, the County, and Federal government agencies. π€β¨
Wishing everyone a very Happy New Year! π π Our 2026 calendar of events is still being finalized, so stay tuned for updates! ποΈππ¦Ί

πΎ Positive Tails: A Year of Community & Compassion πΎ In 2025, our parks were filled with "positive tails" that reminded us why this community is so special. From neighbors helping neighbors during trying times to the fresh energy brought by our new Board Members, your support has been the heartbeat of our parks. πβ€οΈ
Highlights from a Great Year:
Youth Leadership: Local Boy Scouts completed several impressive Eagle Scout projects, bringing enhancements that will benefit our park-goers for years to come. π¨ποΈ
Business Partners: We welcomed new business sponsors who chose to support our off-leash spaces while showcasing their own incredible services to our community. π€β¨
Miraculous Moments: We are incredibly thankful for the "near misses" this year. Despite a random truck with no driver rolling through Ike Dog Park and several large tree limbs and trees falling during storms, we are relieved to report that no pups or humans were harmed. ππ³
Community Connection: Our Annual Community Vendor Event in June was a huge success! It was a joy to see park-goers connect with local non-profits, veterinarians, groomers, and pet supply businesses. πͺππ¦Ί
The Biggest "Positive Tail" of All? It’s our pups! πΆ They are the ones who get us out into the fresh air, encourage us to exercise, and help us socialize with one another. This year has proven once again that while these parks are built for dogs, they are truly essential for the humans who love them, too. π¬οΈπΆβοΈ
We are excited to share a new way to fundraise for our beloved dog parks! Our new online store offers stylish apparel and accessories, allowing you to show off your DogPaw pride while supporting a great cause.
Here's how it works:
You get choices: Select your style, color, and size.
We get support: DogPaw receives an average of 35% of each sale to help maintain and enhance our parks!
This store will constantly be evolving, with new designs added over time. π¨
Keep watch - Further information will be provided soon via email, social media posts and flyers in the parks.
πΎOur 3rd Annual Community Vendor Event is Coming Summer 2026! πΎ
Get ready for our biggest celebration of the year! Following the incredible success of our previous events, we are thrilled to announce that the 3rd Annual Community Vendor Event will be at Pacific Community Park right next to Dakota Memorial Dog Park. ποΈβ¨ Date & Times TBD
Why You Can’t Miss It:
Last year was a "paws-out" success! We hosted over 30 pet-related vendors, including our valued non-profit partners and essential community services. Thanks to your support, we raised over $9,000, which went directly into the maintenance budget to keep our parks clean, safe, and beautiful for our furry friends.
This year, expect even more:
π Free Swag: Vendors will be handing out tons of free goodies!
ποΈ Super Cool Shopping: Discover unique pet products and services you won't find anywhere else.
π€ Community Connections: Meet fellow dog lovers and local animal advocates.
